Anne Lynn is one of the most ALIVE people I’ve ever met.
This Charlotte mother of four had recently completed a dream of competing in an Ironman Triathlon when she got the most devastating news.
Lung Cancer. Stage Four.
She was just 40 years old.
Anne is 43 now, and still fighting this disease with a daily dose of energy, humor, and hope. You can help her team reach its fundraising goal in this year’s 24 Hours of Booty.
And you can cool off in Anne’s honor at three Cold Stone Creamery locations. Dan and Debbie Hemmingsen’s stores at Blakeney, Epicenter, and University are donating to the cause. Ask for “Anne’s Booty Creation”, a tasty blend of vanilla bean ice cream with raspberries, graham cracker crust, and whipping cream. All proceeds go to “Anne’s Pool Crew” – her 24 Hours of Booty team.
Join us on the Booty Loop this weekend for this extraordinary cycling event for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
I’ll be at the opening ceremonies Friday night.
