Can you believe it? The high in Charlotte today was 65 degrees! My mother-in-law called this morning to say it was snowing in Eugene, Oregon, and schools were shut down. It’s 17 degrees in my hometown – Spokane, Washington.
So we’ll enjoy going outside to play at the park with the boys today, in short sleeves. It’s one of the things we love about North Carolina.
And if you want a taste of winter, remember the WBT Holiday on Ice skating rink is open in Center City. And Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden has its Holiday Lights at the Garden display. Both events are a fun $10 and under Christmas tradition. And for free, you can head to McAdenville to see the lights at Christmastown USA.
